2 Chelan
40 units for South Tacoma's Diverse Community
Neighborhood Revitalization
Originally built in 1943 as WWII worker housing, 2 Chelan was transformed from 12 aging units into a vibrant 40-unit contemporary community. This project fulfills Reggie Brown’s 20-year vision of neighborhood revitalization, bringing vibrancy back to the community where people can truly thrive.
To achieve this at scale, our team utilized advanced off-site framing and precise sequencing with a 60-ton crane, reaching an unprecedented milestone: assembling six duplexes in just five days.
